Investment Criteria

  • Profitable, cash-generative companies with an enterprise value between £10 million and £70 million and EBITDA between £2 million and £5 million.
  • A market leader in a niche sector, with resilient characteristics.
  • Generally control positions in management buyouts or recapitalisations, as a result of succession planning.
  • Businesses headquartered in the UK, usually with international exposure or growth plans.
  • An ambitious and strong management team or Chief Executive Officer, with whom we can build a meaningful relationship.
  • Historic growth with further expansion potential.

We understand that very few businesses are perfect and all businesses experience changing market conditions, so we will invest in businesses that could benefit from change or are seeking operational improvement.

We have experience of supporting all value creation strategies (e.g. organic growth, expansion into new markets, strategic acquisition, buy and build, business restructuring) and are particularly interested in businesses with step growth potential.
