- Lumi Global Eligo Acquisition
Vespa Capital portfolio company Lumi Global, a global leader in technology-driven governance and voting solutions for Annual General Meetings, investor relations, regulated elections and member organisations, has announced the acquisition of Eligo, Italy’s leading provider of digital voting solutions.
This strategic acquisition strengthens Lumi’s product leadership and accelerates its expansion across Europe. As governance processes continue to digitalise, organisations are seeking secure, transparent and flexible voting solutions that can meet the full spectrum of requirements, from government-grade elections to agile, self-service ballots. By integrating Eligo’s advanced self-service voting capabilities with Lumi Global’s established technology for AGMs, investor relations and regulated elections, the combined business will deliver an enhanced, end-to-end governance platform.
The acquisition significantly expands Lumi Global’s presence in Italy and reinforces its position across Europe, creating new opportunities in strategic markets. Eligo’s digital ballot and online voting platform will be fully integrated into Lumi’s governance technology stack, enabling a unified customer experience. The two businesses share a long-standing commitment to delivering secure, transparent and scalable governance technology, supported by deep technical expertise and trusted client relationships.
Richard Taylor, CEO of Lumi Global, commented, “Eligo’s technology strengthens Lumi’s leadership in governance solutions and accelerates our ability to meet evolving customer needs globally. We look forward to working with Irene and her team on the next phase of growth for the combined business.”
Irene Pugliatti, CEO of Eligo, added, “Joining forces with Lumi allows us to bring our proven platform to more organisations around the world, supported by Lumi’s international presence and strong global footprint. This is a great opportunity for both firms to further improve governance worldwide.”
Luke Burton, Investment Director at Vespa Capital, said, “We are pleased to support Lumi’s acquisition of Eligo. This addition enhances Lumi’s product capability, strengthens its position in Europe and continues the strategic expansion of the business across the governance and voting market.”
