SelectScience announces new Board Chair

Vespa Capital portfolio company and leading science publisher SelectScience® has announced Mark Allin as the new chair of its board of directors.

Mark Allin’s publishing experience spans more than three decades working in the US, Asia and Europe. He held numerous leadership roles at global publisher John Wiley & Sons, latterly serving as President & CEO.

As well as his time at Wiley - where Mark also served as SVP - Professional Development and Vice President Asia-Pacific - he has held senior positions at the likes of Blackwell Publishing and Pearson Education, as well as founding Capstone Publishing. He is currently Principal at ContentAll and serves on an array of boards including Edinburgh University Press, William Reed Business Media, The Charlesworth Group and the Cambridge University Press Academic Advisory Board

He will bring exceptional strategic insight and industry know-how as SelectScience looks to build on its most successful year to date, further expand its reach and, ultimately, strengthen its position as the world’s number one science technology publisher.
