On 1st June 2020, Lumi, the market leading technology provider for live voting in Annual General Meetings, launched their new website. The refreshed website showcases Lumi’s virtual voting technology which is increasingly being used by publicly listed companies, membership groups and partnerships worldwide. This year an increasing number of organisations have been working with Lumi to enable shareholders, members or key stakeholders to remotely vote and participate in AGMs and critical meetings enabling governance and engagement through technology.
Lumi is a key service provider across North America, Asia, the Middle East and some of continental Europe. In many countries legislation now supports virtual attendance and voting in AGMs, however the UK’s legislative response has not been swift enough to support most public company virtual AGMs in 2020.
